Each of the tinctures in this group is labeled as full-spectrum. Because these tinctures are full-spectrum, you will receive the additional benefit from what is known as "The Entourage Effect."

What Is the Entourage Effect?

There are many different types of CBD products on the market today. As you research these products, you will notice that some are labeled as “full-spectrum,” some are labeled “broad-spectrum or THC free,” and some are labeled as “CBD isolate.”

CBD isolate what the name implies. The product contains only cannabidiol (CBD) without other cannabinoids or other helpful compounds derived from the hemp plant. However, full-spectrum and broad-spectrum products do contain CBD and other cannabinoids like CBG and beneficial compounds like terpenes and flavonoids. This combination of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids produces what is commonly known in the industry as "The Entourage Effect."

Research and anecdotal evidence show that CBD products that include these other helpful compounds produce far greater benefits to the user than CBD isolate alone. This "Entourage Effect" seems to produce superior results no matter what type of CBD product the user is benefiting from. Therefore, CBD products that are labeled either full-spectrum or broad-spectrum will deliver this entourage effect.

The only difference between full-spectrum and broad-spectrum products is that, when creating a broad-spectrum product, an extra step is taken during the hemp extract's processing to remove all traces of THC from within the compound. For religious, employment, or other reasons, a benefit to those who do not want to ingest even the smallest trace of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

These Tinctures Contain THC. Will They Get Me High?

The answer is, "No" – and here's why. The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 (also known as The Farm Bill) made hemp-derived products legal on a federal level throughout the United States. However, to be federally legal, any CBD product must be derived from hemp and contain no more than .3% THC by weight. This minuscule amount of THC is not known to cause any intoxicating effects for its users.
